Sixworks

When we were asked to partner our customer Secure Cloud+ on a project working with one of their customers, we were thrilled.  It is great to be recommended, even better to be asked to work together to create an amazing new facility for Sixworks.

Based in Farnborough, Sixworks had outgrown its offices and was looking to expand into new space for its own operation and to provide facilities for external organisations to work on joint projects.  Space was identified and it was clear from the outset that a major refurbishment and fitout was required to provide the workspace Sixworks desired and deserved.

The whole floor was stripped back to a shell.  New electrical and data infrastructures installed including new LED lighting, Comms Room, AV and AT 5 E cabling and WIFI.  New partitions to form offices, meeting rooms and comms room including a high security room which required a special construction to fulfil the level of security needed.  Using a combination of glass and solid partitions, and bespoke vinyl wall murals and signage designed by Sixworks amazing graphic designer, the space created provides a practical but interesting workspace.  Large areas of dry wipe walls provide brain storming areas, while break out space is multipurpose and can be used for having a break and a coffee to informal meetings and one to ones.

All of the flooring has been replaced using a combination of carpet tiles and luxury vinyl flooring to create different areas.  TV’s installed throughout the space offer areas to present, areas to watch the news and a hub for small project groups to work.  In the open plan new bench desking was specified to give a clean, clutter free working area for 30 staff.  This has been broken up with high tables again offering space for small project groups to meet away from their desks.

The overall look and feel of the new office is light, airy, business like with a hint at fun.  We are proud to have created a great space for Sixworks to work and grow.
